Green Leaf

The green/clean technology revolution is upon us. In this time our choices are clear, we can watch the market develop and grow. We can choose to be part of it by joining an already established organization. Or, we can help make the green technology revolution happen by developing and bringing those technologies to market. The clean/green tech market is becoming a powerful forum to bring about real solutions and change to environmental concerns and the solutions necessary for sustainable development.

I personally believe
consumers want green technology; we just need to supply them with practical, cost effective alternatives conveniently. Forty percent of technology executives claim the green movement creates significant market opportunities for their companies, as evidenced by a noticeable increase in customer demand for green products and services, according to Technology Executive Connections: Going Green: Sustainable Growth Strategies, a study from PricewaterhouseCoopers. The most efficient, productive catalyst for change in our society is the open market system. We can use the market place as a vehicle to bring about real change, real solutions now, not years into the future. To illustrate this point we need only look to the European market place. They are embracing green technology; they have established firms in place and are currently meeting consumer’s needs. We can look to the European green market for our inspiration and as a benchmark.

The global greentech market will continue to grow weather we are a part of it or not. I believe the moment is now. There is at this time a fantastic opportunity to be part of something greater than our selves by sharing those ideas on how we can best apply these emerging technologies to real world solutions, through consumerism, to bring fourth fundamental changes that positively impact our environment, therefore creating a safe and healthy community in which we can all work and live.

We are at our best and we can accomplish insurmountable problems when people from diverse backgrounds pursue a common goal. Therefore it is necessary to cumulate a team of people from various backgrounds who have a desire for environmental change. Taking advantage of each person’s skill sets, strengths and weaknesses allowing them to offset and complement one another is a necessary foundation from which to start.
