Carol was born and raised on Long Island, New York. After attending the
University of Rhode Island, Carol became a Registered Nurse and was employed in
a Surgical-ICU. Columbia University, in New York City, granted Carol a Masters
of Science Degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
Over the years, Carol gained
experience not only in Employee Health and Occupational Medicine primarily but
also in Corporate Medicine, Emergency Department (Fast Track), and Geriatrics.
Recently, Carol obtained a second undergraduate degree from the University of
South Florida.
Clearly, Carol is one of LECOM’s non-traditional students. In
addition to the Internal Medicine Club, Carol is a member of the Christian
Medical Association. Carol enjoys skiing, sailing, swimming, bicycling,
theater, arts, music, and a variety of other activities. She hopes to pursue a
career in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics.
