Hi! I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida (a true Floridian). I attended the
University of Florida and received a B.A. in Anthropology. After graduation, I
moved back to Tampa and began a graduate program at the University of South Florida.
Right before coming to LECOM, I earned a M.A. in Aging Studies, with a focus on dementia
caregiving and end of life studies. My professional focus is on geriatric medicine, and
I would like to work with cognitively impaired individuals. In my spare time I like to
exercise, read (non-medical material), spend time with my family, and play with my dog
(a welsh corgi). I hope to remain in the state of Florida after graduation from LECOM;
I could never get too far away from the beaches and sun.
